I got this palette off feelunique.com on Boxing Day as it had a few pounds knocked off of it, I couldn't resist not buying it as it has been on my wish-list for ages now! 

Gwen Stefani and Urban Decay teamed up to create this gorgeous limited edition eyeshadow palette. Gwen worked on every detail of this product, from the case to the amazing shades. Gwen wanted to create shades which she has always wanted in her own collection, so in this palette are 12 brand new shades and 3 from the UD shadow collection. There is a wonderful range of neutral shades and some jewel tone shades to add a pop of colour!

All the shades feature UD's "Pigment Infusion System" which is a blend of ingredients that give every shade it's velvety-soft texture, rich colour, staying-power and amazing blendability.

Blonde - Pale beige with pink iridescent shift

Bathwater - Pale beige with gold pearl

Skimp - Pale nude satin

Steady - Medium rose with metallic gold shift

Punk - Reddish brown matte

This palette is perfect for day time looks or night time, it has a wonderful selection of gorgeous shades, all with amazing pigmentation and staying-power.

First of all I want to start off by saying that I hope you have all had the most magical Christmas and that Santa has spoilt you all rotten! 

I've recently heard so many good things about the beauty brand NYX Cosmetics. I've heard other bloggers saying how cheap the brand was, but what good quality the products are. Naturally, I had to purchase a few things to see for myself.

The first product I purchased was the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream. I've heard so many people raving about these liquid lipsticks, so I bought one in shade "Prague", a gorgeous pink-burgundy colour, perfect for the winter season. This is definitely one of my favourite liquid lipsticks! It has quite a different consistency to most liquid lipsticks. It feels more like a lip stain, but with the amazing coverage of a matte lipstick. When I wear this, it doesn't actually feel like I have anything on my lips at all! I also find that it doesn't flake off or feel too drying like a lot of the well known liquid lipsticks tend to do. I want this product in every colour!

The next product I purchased was the NYX Tame & Frame Brow Pomade. I've always wanted to try out the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade, but couldn't justify spending £15 on a product just to fill in my eyebrows! I purchased the lightest shade "Blonde" as I thought the next shade up "Chocolate" looked too dark for my eyebrows. I also really love this product, it glides on really smoothly, doesn't smudge at all and shapes my brows really nicely, and still looks really natural.

The final product I bought was the NYX Setting Spray Matte Finish. My makeup routine is incomplete with a quick spray from a setting spray, so I thought I would try this one out. I chose to get the one in the matte finish as throughout the day my skin can get quite oily and shiny. Although I don't think this setting spray is as good as the Urban Decay De Slick Setting Spray, for a fraction of the price, I would definitely still purchase again!

I just had to do a blog post on this gorgeous product as it is one of my favourites ever! 

Exfoliating your skin is one of the most important parts of your skincare routine. Exfoliating regularly helps to get rid of any dead/dry skin cells on the surface of the skin. Exfoliating helps with many skin problems and it also increases blood circulation, which means it leaves your skin healthy and glowing.

This St. Ives Apricot Facial Scrub is my all time favourite exfoliator for my face. I apply this a few times a week (there is no need to apply daily). I moisten my face and neck, massage the product into my face and then rinse well with warm water and finish with my favourite moisturiser. 

It feels really gentle on the skin, after only one use I noticed my skin looked more radiant and felt so soft and gorgeous. The fragrance of this is beautiful as well! It smells like I've just stuck my face in a bunch of apricots! 

Overall, I would 100000% recommend this product.

Me and Jamie took a trip into York at the beginning of the week as we both had the week off work. We had a really fabulous time and I treated myself to a few goodies whilst we were there. 

This Kiehl's Ultra Facial Hydrating Overnight Masque was one of the goodies I treated myself to. This product stood out to me straight away when we went into the shop. During the Winter months my skin really plays up and it gets really dry. No matter how much moisturiser I seem to put on, nothing seems to help it.

Kiehl's says, "It helps to instantly boost skin's ability to absorb and hold moisture for long-lasting hydration. Glacial proteins and desert plants leaves skin smoother and softer, refreshed and supple by morning. Amplifies the hydration provided by a daily moisturiser."

To apply this I simply cleanse my face with my favourite facial cleanser and then follow with my favourite toner. I then apply a thick layer of this product all over my face and leave to soak in for ten minutes. After ten minutes, I get a cloth or a tissue and wipe away any excess product, but still leave a thin layer which will be absorbed by the skin overnight. There is no need to rinse this product off.

In the morning, I simply cleanse and tone my face again and then continue with my skincare routine.

Kiehl's recommend to use this product 1-2 times a week. 

I really love this product! In the morning my skin feels amazingly soft and nourished. It doesn't feel greasy or oily at all when I apply it, which was a concern of mine. Another reason I love this product is because it it suitable for all skin types which means that if you suffer from really oily skin, you can still use it! 

Overall, I would definitely recommend and I will be buying again when this tub runs out!

Oh my goodness, when I got this month's box from Mr Postman, I literally squealed with delight, look at how gorgeous the box is! 

This box contains six products this month! The products included are everything you need to get you through the Christmas period, from statement nails and lips to gorgeous glowing skin.

The first product is this gorgeous highlighter pencil from So Susan. I am obsessed with highlighter at the moment, so this was a really lovely product to get in this box! Blend over the cheekbones, down the centre of the nose and on your cupid's bow, to give you a beautiful dewy glow! The shape of the pencil makes it really easy to apply and it also blends really easily too.

This liquid lipstick gives you the coverage of a lipstick, but with a shine like a gloss. Most liquid lipsticks are matte, so this makes a nice change! However, I don't usually like wearing lipgloss or overly "shiny" lip products, so I don't really know how I feel about this product! However, it is a really gorgeous shade, perfect for Christmas time.

Sparkly nails are a must over Christmas time and this is the perfect nail polish! It is really fast drying and the wide applicator brush makes it really easy to apply on the nails.

With all the partying we will be doing over Christmas, it's so important to look refreshed and radiant! This product is perfect for soothing and hydrating the delicate skin around the eyes. The cooling gel really makes you feel wide awake!

I'm not going to lie, I find this product to look quite scary? This product is designed to minimise pores, mattify and blur all in one go. You can either use this product on its own as the last step in your skincare routine, or use it after foundation and before powder to give a flawless finish.

This is the sixth product in this month's box. These face masks are perfect for party season as they are extremely moisturising and will rescue tired, "morning after the night before" complexions. 

Yet again, another gorgeous box from Glossybox!

The first gift set is the Cherish mini set. It comes with a really nice cosmetic bag and then three travel sized products. A perfect stocking filler for her!

The first travel-sized product is the Dove Go Fresh Spray Deodorant. I love Dove deodorants, they are the only deodorants I can wear as other brands give me serious skin irritations! This deodorant has a really nice, pleasant scent and keeps me feeling fresh all day long. Because of the handy travel size, it's perfect to fit in your handbag.

Next is the travel-sized Dove Deeply Nourishing Body Wash. I always enjoy my showers much more when I am using Dove products. It lathers up really well, smells gorgeous and leaves my skin feeling softer from only after one use!

The last product in this gift set is the Dove Purely Pampering Nourishing Lotion. Dove moisturisers are my absolute favourite, they leave the skin feeling nourished all day long and smell gorgeous too.

The other gift set they sent to me was the new DermaSpa Goodness Skincare Ritual set. Back in October, Dove sent me a couple of products from the DermaSpa Goodness and Uplifted range (post can be found here) and I fell in love with both of them. 

This gift set also contains three products, full-sized this time. It is beautifully presented in a lovely gift box and also comes with a beautiful silky soft scarf! 

The first product is the Goodness Indulgent Hand Cream. I got this product when Dove kindly sent me them before and I loved it, so I was super excited that I received another one! It is really moisturising and keeps my hands lovely and soft all day long.

The second product is the Goodness Body Lotion. I like to apply this after I have showered and it leaves my skin feeling velvety-soft and beautifully fragranced.

The third product is the Goodness Body Cream. This has a very similar texture and consistency to the body lotion, and just like the body lotion, it leaves me skin feeling very nourished and also has a gorgeous scent.

These gorgeous gift sets would make the perfect stocking fillers or are perfect for a little more luxurious gift to treat the favourite people in your life.
