Morrocanoil Treatment

Morrocanoil is one of my favourite products for my hair. It is a gorgeous hair oil, which is applied to the hair either wet or dry.

It is ultra-lightweight, and when applied, it leaves the hair feeling amazingly soft, smooth and shiny, without leaving any sticky/oily residue.

I decided to treat myself to the gift set as it includes the full sized bottle, a cute little travel sized one and a scented candle!

Full sized bottle (100ml) - £31.85 (from feel unique.com)

Travel sized bottle (25ml) - £13.45 (from feel unique.com)
The whole set only cost me £36.00 from feelunique.com, which I think is a fantastic price, as the two bottles are worth around £45.

The scented candle also smells amazing, and is a lovely little added extra which you get with the set.

The link to buy this gift set is here.

Have you tried any Morrocanoil products before? If so, what do you think?

Glossybox: September 2015

This month's Glossybox is the "Style Edition" which is perfect as it fits in with Fashion Week. I'm really impressed with this month's box, here's what I got.

Maria Nila Luminous Colour Masque - full size £18.95
The first product I saw was this big tub, which is a hair mask. The packaging is really lovely, pink and black, which I think is a lovely colour combination. I've not actually tried this out yet, but it's supposed to really nourish the hair and leave it feeling really hydrated, which is perfect for dry/damaged hair. It smells gorgeous too.

Nails Inc Battersea Park Nail Polish - full size £14.00
There is one of two shades in this months Glossybox, a blush pink or this khaki green colour. Khaki colours are completely in at the moment, so I'm in love with this nail polish. It's a perfect colour and looks great on the nails, with pretty much any outfit.

Marsk Eyeshadow Brush Pro - full size $26.00 (which is about £16.70)
This brush is so lovely. The bristles are super soft and makes eyeshadow application really smooth and easy. It's also quite small, so perfect for fitting in your handbag for quick on-the-go touchups.

Invisibobble - Pack of three £3.75
These hair bobbles claim to be traceless, which means they leave no kinks in the hair; no headaches, no split ends, no tugging or pulled hairs, strong hold and compatible with all hair types. I was really excited to try these as I have to wear my hair up for work, which is such a pain as I am always left with a massive kink in my hair. I wore these today, all day, and voila! There was virtually no kink in my hair at all! They also provided a really strong hold all day.

Bellapierre Cosmetics Shimmer Powder - full size £12.99
I don't usually wear shimmery eyeshadow, but this is a gorgeous shimmery silver colour, which would look perfect when doing a smokey eye for a night out.

As you can see, I got five full-sized products in this month's box. This box is valued at over £60, and considering you're only paying £10 a month (plus £3.25 P+P), this box is an excellent box!

If you are considering signing up, you can do so here.

Pippa Palette: Review

This month I decided to buy the Pippa palette after hearing only amazing things about this product!
Pippa, who is an Irish blogger and model, teamed up with Blank Canvas Cosmetics to create this beautiful palette.

The palette has six eyeshadows and a highlighter, bronzer and a blusher.

Normally when I buy a palette, there are always some colours which I would never wear. However, in this case, I would definitely wear every single colour. They are perfect for daytime wear, but also evening too.

The eyeshadow shades.
All the names of the different shades are named after people in Pippa's life who mean something to her, which I think is a really special and meaningful touch.

The highlighter, blusher and bronzer shades.
This product costs €34.99 which is equivalent to £25.46.
In my opinion, this product is definitely worth the money, and when this one runs out, I will definitely be buying another one.

Favourite Buy This Month

My favourite purchase this month has definitely got to be my Steve Madden sunglasses!

I didn't actually go out to the shops intending on buying sunglasses, especially as the weather has been shocking recently. I actually went to Ikea, as I wanted to buy a new mattress.
Jamie and me were really excited to get this new mattress, as the one we have now is awful

So we went into Ikea, zoomed around the shop until we got to the 'bedroom' section. Picked out the perfect, most comfortable mattress... to find out none of the mattresses fit my bed at home. Great.

It put me in a right bad mood, so I stormed out the shop (didn't even get a hot dog)!

I saw a TKmaxx over the road, so thought I would have a quick browse to cheer myself up. Ended up spending a fortune. I bought loads of beauty products and it's also where I found my beautiful new sunglasses.

Aviator style sunglasses, with a rose-gold frame, with some white detailing on the arms, with "Steve Madden" written on them. I fell in love without even trying them on first.

And the best part?

Only £12.99

I've literally not taken them off since I bought them; Definitely my best buy this month.

What's been your favourite purchase this month?

My Favourite Apps at the Moment

VSCO Cam

This is by far my favourite photo editing app. The app comes with a number of filters which are really nice, and then you can also purchase more on top of that. I love the filters, they aren't too OTT like they can be on other apps. If you don't want to apply a filter, it also gives you the option to just edit your photo, like adjusting the brightness, sharpness, shadows etc. The best thing about the app is just how simple and easy it is to use.

Timehop

This app amuses me so much! You basically log into all your social media accounts and it finds out everything you posted on them 1 year ago, 2 years ago, 3 years etc etc. I read through it every morning cringing to myself and wondering why on earth I was ever allowed on the internet! Seriously entertaining though.
(Price: Free)

Snapchat

I'm obsessed with Snapchat. If you haven't heard of it, where have you been, seriously? You send pictures and videos with or without captions to friends you have added on the app. However, whatever you send disappears within 10 seconds or less unless your friend takes a screenshot! You also have your own "Snapchat Story" which you can upload photos/videos to and people can view whatever is on there for 24 hours. It also features a handy little messenger feature. It sounds pretty rubbish when I'm writing it out like this... but seriously, it's so addictive!
(Price: Free)

Cocktail Flow

Cocktails are my favourite drink ever. If it was acceptable to drink them all day every day I would (haha)! In this app, you choose an occasion such as "Mother's Day"or "Chillin'". It then comes up with a list of loads of cocktails suitable for the occasion, showing a picture of the cocktail so you know what it looks like. Choose which cocktail you want to make, and it tells you what ingredients you need and how to mix it.

Outfit Inspo

Hi everyone,
I feel like recently, I'm constantly wearing the same outfits over and over again, day in, day out. I'm getting pretty bored of my wardrobe and decided I needed some new inspiration for outfits ideas etc. So here are a few "inspo's" I have found:

I'm loving the casual looking trousers, dressed up with a smart jacket and interesting clutch bag. The colours work so well together.

I'm so excited that it's getting colder again, just so I can start wearing faux fur and leather leggings/trousers!

I am definitely going to be buying a black jumpsuit sometime soon! I just love how they look, dressed up or dressed down and this black one looks great with the pop of red from the heels.

I'm obsessed with camel/nude colours at the moment and I've been looking at buying a coat similar to this one. I love it against the white trousers and the leopard print clutch bag, so classy.
